Apothecary Cabinet

The Apothecary Cabinet takes its form from the shop fittings of 19th-century chemists and dry-goods stores, where open shelving above a bank of drawers kept stock in view and small goods sorted. Two bays of open shelves rise beneath a stepped cornice, set against a plank back. Below, a base of nine drawers pairs three wide graduated drawers at the center with smaller drawers on either side, each fitted with simple turned knobs.
