Archer Arm Chair
Item No. 3585-A
Crossed arrows meet at a carved rosette in the open square back of the Archer. The motif is drawn from Gustavian and Directoire neoclassicism, when the archer's arrow was a favorite emblem of the period. Below, a fluted seat rail is punctuated by rosettes at each corner. The chair stands on square tapered legs joined by an H-stretcher, beneath an upholstered seat.
